Coen Noble

Coen Noble (he/they) is an acrylic painter and tattooer who creates art influenced by traditional and black work tattooing, personalized through a queer, trans-masculine lens.

During his nursing degree at Lakehead University, Coen taught himself to draw and worked as the illustrator for The Argus newspaper. After deciding to leave nursing in 2021, Coen met Paige Parker, and under their mentorship, learned to tattoo.

Coen hopes to create a space that fosters a sense of safety and community while making art that allows him to explore his creativity and help others feel more at home in their bodies. He is inspired by images that give a sense of nostalgia and specializes in combining these familiar images with elements of traditional and black work tattooing to create a body of work that is unique and eye-catching.
